Gamestation credit notes

Anyone know how long they're valid for?
Got 2 from early October but not sure how long I've got to use them by. Any ideas? :)

As long as ink is readable they are valid I believe.

At a guess though I would say they are valied as long as Gamestation are in business.

My guess is a minimum of 6 months. I know from CEX it's 1 year and 1 day :)

Shop is really crap though :(
I've been in around ten times since it opened & none of the staff have been very friendly, Of course you get all that fake BS but nobody has befriended me as you would like, Does that make sense ?
On top of that, Out of the 5 games I've bought since it opened I only got 1 from there, All the best deals were from my local shop & they gave me L4D early, Gamestation refused to give me L4D even though he had it in his hand.

Marks out of 10 would be a 3 which in my mind is Proper pants ;D




Sidenote.
Had a laugh in the shop yesterday though.
I was browsing on my own & 3 kids around 13 were in front of me chatting.
One of them said summit & the other one said back to him;
"STFU I remember when You fancied that girl out of Pokerman" :shocked: + ;D;D;D
I leaned right in & said really loud, PAWNED
These other 2 kids pissed themselves laughing whilst soppylad went post box red :o + ;D;D;D
I wandered off but on my way out I passed them & the lad looked at me & smiled, I said "Proper pawnage that lad, Nice one" :cool:

They can't give you a game early without risking the wrath of the distributers and publishers. Smaller shops are willing to take the risk as they know it'll increase their sales, but big chains like Gamestation won't do it as they don't want to piss anyone off. It sucks, but that's the way it is :(

Heh, I know what that's like. When I lived in Leeds I used to work about 20 mins away from the Gameplay warehouse, where they sent all the games from. I tried so many times to get the games from them on a Wednesday or Thursday before release, but they were having none of it. "You'll save on postage if I collect it" was my logical reasoning, but they were adamant that they couldn't give it to me early. Buggers ;D

I know that feeling from Blockbuster. We're allowed to rent DVDs the Wednesday before release but can't buy any DVDs, games or CDs beforehand. Not affected me hugely yet but I know it will when something I really want appears ;D

I've got two local Gamestations, one is awful these days, the other one's not bad, bit hit and miss. Their manager is pretty good (albeit never gave me an interview despite being so keen initially grrr!) but the rest of the staff are a tad odd and one girl there is particularly stupid. Online shopping ftw!
