I wouldn't do it if I wasn't being paid to do it.

Some people have to work unlike students who just sleep all day and party all night :p

Ditto. Although annoyingly by body clock seems to have developed an internal alarm and even on days off it is very rare that I sleep past 9am even if I've been out the night before :(
Try getting up at the time Lostkat and I do every day, only then can you complain. Then again even at weekends I'm up before 8... such a waste of the day otherwise - got plenty of time to sleep when I'm dead.

I've been getting up at silly o clock recently, Yesterday I woke at 5.15am :(
Today was 7.45am which is a lay in for me.
Up at 05:00, didn't get to bed till gone midnight last night.
STOP WHINING!!
:D
still, on balance, well worth leaving half an hour early to get bacon. nom.

Never grow old and never die?
It's fun to be a vampire?
*boogies*
Usually up just after 6am for work, have a lie in at the weekends and get up about half seven :p
Copious amounts of coffee help :D Until you go too far and feel a little bit sick :(
*fifth cup of coffee of the day so far*

Always up between 7-7:20am on a weekday, and whatever time Lynnie wakes me on the weekend ;D Never feel like sleeping in is wasting the day, as I always find that the later I get up, the later I stay up till, so I still have the same amount of time to get stuff done. Will always get up pretty early though if we want to go into town on a Saturday, as we detest crowds in town so we'd rather go when it's quiet.

You lazy bloody student. Get up and get your dissertation finished :D
Finish?
I started 6 weeks late due to circumstances beyond my control, i'm nowhere near finishing it :p
I've been sleeping through my alarm lately :( Alarm is set for 7am and this morning I managed to wake up at 7.45, oops. Don't know what it is, but I'm absolutely shattered at the moment for some reason.
I was up at 6am on a sunday a couple of weeks ago for our first away game of the season.
and this week is Nottingham Outlaws away. thats gonna be another early start :(

Same here :)
Hate early mornings though, even when working fulltime my body never adjusted to it :(

Not really a morning person really - which is a bit of a nuisance, considering my shift starts at 06:00 :(
Always up early even at weekends and holidays. Far better things to be doing than sleeping my life away.
I screw with my body clock so much, my shifts range from 7-3 to 12-8, then this weekend I stayed up until 7am on Friday night and thought 'I have to go to work in 48 hours'. Eurgh.

I hate mornings :(
Normally up about 7am on a work day... on a weekend though it varies.. if we've got nothing to do then I'll lie in until about 11 ish :D

Corrected this for you. Some of us have to be up at 7am for 9am lectures.

My alarm goes off at half five, can I join your club?
I'm awake at 0500 the majority of the week, enough time to casually watch the news with tea and bacon widges in bed before cycling off to work :) I love sleeping/chilling out in bed in the morning though so on days off I still awake early just so I can revel in my sleepytime snuggle bed ;D

*churchill dog voice* ohhhhhhhhhhhhh yes!
I screw with my body clock so much, my shifts...
Mine too, God knows where it's at 99% of the time. My shift pattern is 2 days 07:00-19:00, 2 nights 19:00-07:00 and then 4 days off.
My devil spawn lovely children don't help either. 2 of them are now nocturnal and think nothing of staying up till 2-3 in the morning. :(
Heh, well t'other night I was forced to wake up at 7:30am to go into work.
Unfortunately, I'd only got in from work at 5:30am, 2 hours earlier.
The things we do :p

Just because it's you :D
If I get a good 5-6hrs sleep then I'm happy to go. Definitely a morning person, and not a night owl. I feel I can get so much done during the day if I get up early, though I will lie in till about 830-9 on a weekend, but not always - I feel tired and lethargic if I stay in bed all day. Don't like being awake at night as all the things I want to do wouldn't be possible, and I'm so busy that by the time night comes around I just want to go to bed anyway! I have lazy days where I do laze around in bed or in my dressing gown from time to time, but other than that what a waste of your life!

I'm pretty much the same - 5-6 hrs is plenty, if I sleep more than 8 hrs, I don't feel right. Once I'm properly awake, I don't like lying in bed, I prefer to get up - even if I just decant to the living room or computer room in my dressing gown.
When I'm at work, my first alarm goes off at 04:45 but I very rarely get up with that one. I usually get up after the second alarm at 05:00.
