Im going to be without my car for 2 or 3 days as of tomorrow morning.
Firstly during the heavy snow someone remodelled my rear bumper, so that needs sorting and then, its 50k miles service is due, so ive booked it in and whilst in im getting some extra work carried out, lowering it onto some Eibach coilovers and springs, fitting and mapping an new ECU, getting the suspension and camber setup for fast road and track use and also fitting a uprated fueling system, as ive seen a relatively cheap progressive NOS kit that im thinking of getting.

Anyways, im also going in tomorrow for some work doing, so ill laid up in hospital for a day or so, everything crossed that neither me or my pride and joy are found to have any complications during the work.

Cannot wait to get back out after the work has been done as the car is real fun already, and the mods should really make it handle and accelerate quit a bit better. :)

I like Eibach stuff, I was going to get some Eibach ARB's on my car but they were on a 4 month (!) leadtime so I went for H&R instead.

Big boo to rear end remodeling though!

Ah, the last of the nice ones. Not a fan of the new Type R's. From what you are doing that is gonna be awesome. Also.... Type R on NOS hehehe

I think the EP3 is lovingly referred to as the breadvan yes, here is a picture of what it looked like before the work.

The suspension changes dont seem to have made half as much differance, visually, as i was hoping for, I was told it would be 15-25mm lower and imo its 10mm MAX lower, but, the ride, turn-in and rear end stability are much improved, before the work i could quite easily induce both understeer and liftoff oversteer, and now both are harder to achieve, which is imo good. :)

As for my hospital visit, im fine now and home now, after their initial examination they decided the work could be done under local and only kept me 2hours afterwards to check the bleeding had stopped, it was only some wisdom teeth, but ive heard horror stories, and my own dentist suggested it would be much worse than it actually was.

Cheers Mr Garp,

Just back from a blast and im really very happy with the mods, took a few photos, and in them it does appear to be a good bit lower, not sure if it was just my eyes initially or whether the springs bed in and give a little?

Anyway, here what it looks like now.

Yeah it takes a while for the springs to settle down.

Definitely looks lower to me :)

I'll be looking at getting my MR2 lowered in the new year - along with uprated ARBs, poly bushes all round and strut braces. Should stiffen things up nicely and make her uber sexeh.

How much extra did that add to the insurance?

Glad to hear it all went well Darryn
Motor looks much better dropped down a tad & Yes it is noticeable, I'd say a subtle drop rather than a sick drop :)
Think may be a touch of pillar box red on your front calipers & the jobs done.
