Just got home, had a scrummy dinner (goose and gammon and super crunchy roasties - nom!), discovered half of the prezzies exchanged by our friends and us are the same as secret santas received by other various people (mic got a flying monkey - hand is already broken :p ), I'm now off to bed and get to cook turkey and maybe pork to do cold meat and mash and open prezzies with another comple of friends tomorrow evening :)

Hehehehe, fantastic :D
Hope everyone had a lovely day and is enjoying whatever (if any) time off work they have :)
We had a really nice day at my Parents' with my Grandparents there too. We got up late, ambled over, opened pressies and I made some canapés. Then we went out for a walk over Bradgate Park in the sunshine. Got back and me & Mum finished cooking Christmas Dinner. We sat down to eat it at around 4.30ish, which was perfect. The food was absolutely delicious. My Mum is fantastic at Christmas Dinners, but this one was the best so far. Went home at around 6:30ish and vegged out on the sofa watching BBC1 all night. We were so stuffed that we couldn't even manage a glass of wine, let alone some cheese and crackers!! ;D

Well done! I was going to, but it's MUCH colder today than it was yesterday and my nose/ears couldn't have taken it. Might wander down the gym tomorrow if it's still freezing. I've got to do SOMEthing or I'll go mad. I'm booked in for Pump on Monday and Tuesday though :D
Kari and I went to midnight mass on Christmas Eve, then headed back and used skype to phone home and wish everyone a Happy Christmas. Got up around 8, opened a couple of presents each before grabbing a quick breakfast and heading on to her parents to join them, her brother, her sister, bro-in-law and the nieces. Had fun opening lots of presents, and trying to stop the littlest niece (2 1/2) from opening every single present there regardless of whether it was hers or not ;D. Heard on multiple occasions how Barack Obama had waved at her mum on Christmas Eve whilst playing golf on the golf course their house backs onto!
After all the presents were opened we headed on over to the residential home her grandmother lives at where we were booked in for a very hearty and filling brunch. Eventually Kari and I headed back home and vegged out watching a few films on TV (Home Alone, classic Christmas fodder)
