Anyone else got this?

My parents just bought a Wii for the sole purpose of playing Wii Fit - its not cheap (Wii + Wii Fit + Rayman Raving Rabbids came to £276 in Game) but its pretty good!

Its got a few different modes - Yoga, Balance, Aerobic Exercise and Muscle workouts.

You basically stand on the board it comes with and it weighs you - you give it your height and age and it works out how "fit" you are based on how good you are at the tests, your BMI and your weight. As you do the exercises it keeps track of how much time you have spent on each one and so you can keep a track of how much exercise you are doing.

I was pretty skeptical at first, after all its just a fancy set of scales and a few balance games but it really is pretty impressive. After 20 minutes of play this evening I had worked up a bit of a sweat and was breathing quite heavily having tried to do a few of the tests.

Its not all serious though, some of the things you have to do are absolutely hilarious and the Mii characters doing the exercises with you make me smile every time I see them.

For my parents its pretty ideal - they aren't the sort of people that would go out to the gym each day (although my Dad uses the gym in work a couple of times a week) or go out for a run but they will use this loads.

If you already have a Wii, Wi Fit is about £70 if you can find it anywhere and I reckon its well worth it just to keep yourself a little more active than you otherwise would be :)

Wii (hehe) got my mum this for Christmas. She loves it! She's annoyed that she tried so hard on the boxing the first time, because she's made it hard for herself as they up the difficulty. ;D

Managed to get one just before Christmas for the family as a present. They didn't have a Scooby Do about it until Christmas morning.

The Yoga seems to be pretty good and has picked up a have a poor COG.

I quite enjoy watching my wife do the hoops :D
