Crept up on me this one - I assumed it was totally dead after the lack of a series last year and had heard nothing about it until the other day.

Mickey is indeed back but I think Danny might be gone, not sure tho.

It's also being broadcast in HD (not sure if any previous seasons were).

Epic episode! Really wasn't sure whether I was going to like it with two main characters gone but I think it could work.

No opinions on the new series? Cast changes are inevitable although I'll hold out hope of seeing Danny and/or Stacey in some episodes.

What I found most gutting was the changed theme tune - the original was one of my favourites of all time.

I only sporadically watched the older series, though enough to know the characters and such. I thought it was pretty good and a fairly decent way of setting up a new series under the circumstances of having two main characters leave.

Like you, I didn't see it coming either.

I clicked when she went to the loo. Going to the loo is a very normal thing that humans do, so when that is suddenly her line in the middle of a critical part, you know it's significant. I still didn't know who she was though, just that it wasn't as simple as it looked. :p

For me it was when she sent the PA out and he dropped the bags by the door - knew something was up at that point but wasn't sure what.

She plays a vile character (don't know where ITV are so I won't say anything more).* I possibly disliked the actress herself after she featured in it, (though in all fairness as big a fan I am of Dexter it's slightly odd that I can't stand any of the females on the show).

I just found her too similar to the character from Hustle. Aside from being conventionally pretty I don't think she's that talented in all honesty.

Have to say tonight's episode of Hustle wasn't bad. The stories aren't as good as the original 4 series, there isn't that chemistry between the characters with the new guys. Though they're not bad. And the protective younger brother thing? *bleurgh*.

Edit *, that's not a spoiler actually....I mean somebody who I really distaste.
