Morcambe and Wise featuring Andre Previn.

I just love it.

See what you think.

I quoted it earlier this evening. ;D

Comedy is notorius for having a short shelf life but this seems to get better with age.

Apparently Andre Previn only read the script in the taxi between the airport and the studio and was word perfect.

Love it, wish I was alive to see it on TV, I think it was a Christmas special. Comedy is all about the delivery and Eric is a legend.

Saw it again on that Paul Merton thing the other night. Priceless stuff.

I think that one's great, the Singing in The Rain skit is on a par with it :D

Breakfast Sketch is my favourite though.

I still call him Andrew Preview ;D I absolutely adore those two, they were comic geniuses. Jen's right though, the breakfast sketch of the Stripper is still the best :D

It was on Boxing Day Night and it made me chuckle lots.

Pretty much all their material is classic. In days when comedy was simple and funny for all the family and didn't have to resourt to vile crudeness and swearing.
