Xbox 360 Games Night - Thursdays 8pm [Archive]

This idea may fall flat on its face but.....

How about having a designated BD games night? :D Many of us on here regularly game online but are crap at organising things so worth a go.

I was thinking, every Thursday is BD night. We play whatever's flavour of the week decided here, and generally have a good laugh for a couple of hours :D

Choose from the poll what you want to kick the idea off with :D

Definitely a good idea as it seems to be getting harder to get games organized now than it was. Looking at how hard it is I'm amazed we ever got Haly, LeoWyatt, Daz and Myself around so many nights to play through Halo 3 on Legendary.

I've wanted to play Horde for a while, had a few in December, but with so many games it seemed to get mixed in with the crowd very quickly.

We have a lot of Xbox360 gamers here who have many games that we could, and should be playing more against each other with. We can be playing Gears of War 2, Left 4 Dead or Call of Duty: World at War for recent games, or even playing older ones like Halo 3. So having something sorted so we play on a day at a time is great, weekdays are definitely better than weekends too.

Hopefully this takes off.

Yeah but I'm biased against Thursdays now I'm always out for it :p

I forgot you did your thing on Thursdays :o I think 1 night a week is a great idea and just chucked in Thursdays because I was thinking about COD4 :)

Nokkon won't like Wednesday as he has football then, but I won't like Thursday because of bookkeeping :p
I know I'm fine with Thursday as long as no one minds me arriving just after 8 though :D At least with Thursdays I'm guaranteed to not be working till 10.30.

Well, Wednesdays is okay, we managed it playing Halo (just as we did with Jen doing bookkeeping on Thursdays). If Wednesday is best for everyone, then let's do that. European Football isn't on every week... you should be okay though Davey ;D:p.

Loved playing as a hunter in particular, and had a sadistic pleasure in leaping on Davey to rip him to shreds ;D

I found Hunters to be really hit and miss. Sometimes I'd be standing next to a survivor and I'd either completely miss, or not even pounce at all. :(

I was starting to get good as a hunter towards the end. On a building/train car and pouncing off/over (or my fave through :p) and suprising the lone survivor was great.

Only problem I find with both hunters and smokers is that once you've done your primary attack your helpless until your shot :(

Needs some way to break off the attack so you can pounce/pin/flee and regroup given the lowish health you get.

I liked being the Hunter, especially when I caught Psy on his own as everyone left him and killed him, then I caught Barfmit coming back to investigate and killed him as well ;D
