Did anyone see the new T-Mobile advert on C4 last Friday.
It's "flashmob" type of thing with dancing, very cool.

That's ace, and it's really well done as well. I don't know how much of that was all just actors/dactors, and how much were genuine members of the public enjoying it. The choreographed moves at the end probably suggest the former but still, quite uplifting really to see that sort of thing. Sort of sticks two fingers up at the doom and gloom economy too for us to dance in a train station without a care in the world. :D

Hmm I wonder what it was that was filming on the 17th when we went to the underground at Liverpool Street?
That is SO ace, I'd love to see that kind of thing!

They'd had a least one rehearsal at night.

We still have the odd flash mob up here just for fun. I think the last one was in the summer in the big park in town it was a flash water fight :)
I love the idea behind it all but whacking a Tmobile sign on the end really kills it. Its taking something amazing, puzzeling, art on a public in your face wtf level and I just don't like the idea of comercialising it.

If it's popular someone will find a way to make money out of it sooner or later. It's a shame really.
It's been done well but I agree with where you're coming from.

I love the flash mob thing. The one they did in Central Station was just epic (NY).

It's a shame that they seem to have only shown the full version once, and subsequent showings are of a cut down version. :(
Is the youtube version the full edit?

Pretty much all of it.
Every time the song changes, new dancers join in. It'd be quite a coincidence if they just all happened to know the correct steps at exactly the right time.

Sorry dude, I was looking for someone knocking over all the dancers in a domino stylee but I couldn't see you anywhere. Were you in one of the rehearsals? :p
Great video though, irrespective of the fact that most would have been choreographed it looks like other people enjoyed it too. :)

just seen a new one, that's fab too :D
Is it definitely a new one, as I've noticed they've started showing the second half of the full version. I didn't realise and thought it was a second add until I recognised the last sequence.

Saw the advert a few days ago, was dead jealous because I really would love to have the guts to go and take part in something like that.
Great advert. :)

Yep APOL it's the same one, I've seen the shortened shortened version and thought it was a new one :(
I love it more now :D
Thankfully the full version is still on youtube, so anytime you're bored and have a few mins to kill you can watch it again.

How would you get involved with something like that?
Presumably checking the ads in "The Stage" or "Variety"?
I'd imagine it's just done through agencies for dancers just like any other job?
