The game is meant to be a bit average, however the headset retails for £20 so i look at it as £8 for an average game with an excellent headset.

Only reason i haven't bought this myself is because i couldn't wait for the headset ;/

what headset is it then? i've been looking for one tbh so this is something to consider despite all the b.days and football team nights out happening before i get paid again!!

It's the official Sony headset. It's basically the best wireless headset available for the PS3. Notable features are:

Two microphones to allow for 'HQ' mode - one microphone at the tip, and one on the outer-surface, pointing away from you. The one on the tip serves to relay your voice and the one on the outside is used to detect and cancel out feedback from the tele etc. Works surprisingly well but only available on the PS3; a mobile phone will just treat it as a standard blutooth headset with one microphone.

The ability to mute both the earphone and the microphone
