Moving house to Maidstone :(
First time I've moved house since I was 4
It's going to be hard as although the town I currently live in isn't far away, it's hard to get to. Especially seeing as though I don't drive.
Means I'm going to have to change job, see my friends less, see my mum less (I live with my dad)....
And worst of all - no internet for THREE DAYS ;D

Well, I move out Friday morning, but have work tomorrow and going to bingo with my nan afterwards. Just odd seeing the house being empty... :/
Thanks for the luck though.

Ah, the time has come.
I remember you talking about moving at the Christmas meet but wasn't sure when it was you were moving. Good luck with the move mate.
You do know that MB is the mayor of Maidstone, don't you? Any nonsense and he'll have you in the stocks in the town square :p
Housewarming party everyone?

I hate moving. :(
I'm moving in 2 weeks time. In fact moving the weekend of the 14th. Still I took monday and tuesday off to make it a long weekend to minimise the stress. Meh. :/
Hope your move went ok. :)

Well it's a shame that I'm going to have to change jobs because of it.... :-/
Moving tomorrow morning... I don't want tooo :(
I would move to the Blacks in maidstone but there is only a weekend position, and I can't afford to live on that amount of money. Hopefully I'll be accepted @ Kent Police...

SO LONG WORLD!
I'm just packing up the last of my stuff at the flat, half of it is in the van on the way to the new house already. Next trip the router is coming too.
Phone line gets connected by friday, then internet by a week after that :o
I'll have to hi-jack a wireless connection somehow. Or I'll be spending my time in spoons with their free wireless.

I lived in the same house for 27 years then moved twice within a year, it was very strange.
I am really enjoying the new gaff at the moment though.

Thanks! It feels really weird... like when you find an old toy that has been lost behind your bed for years on end...

I'll tell you what though... Be* Pro is
Yes, it is. Actually, I had my first bit of downtime (since I got it in December) last night. I now know who to blame. :p
Just ditch the goddamn Thomson POS if you haven't already. Mine came out the box for all of five minutes.
Pah, I'm on good ol' 3G (which doesn't ****ing work) and I doubt I'll get anything else until I know if I'm going to be staying there or not.

Mark, is a 802.11G or N router? How easy is it to take apart to have a look inside?

Dunno about taking it apart. I haven't paid that much attention. :)

OK, thanks. I need to have a look inside on of their 802.11N routers for some research so will have to keep on looking.

I just got the Be* (via o2) premium service at £9 per month, didn't see the point in paying double to get the Wireless N box and (possibly) double the upload speed.
Ditched the router, and am just using my netgear till the Vigor gets delivered.
Good choice.
I've only got Be Pro because of the Static IP. I don't really get any other benefit from it as I can't get more than about 7.5Mbps anyway. :(
