Ludlum Entertainment has granted EA the exclusive worldwide access to create video games based on the works of Robert Ludlum, including the Bourne licence. The first game to kick off the agreement is in fact a Bourne title and is already in development by the well known Starbreeze Studios.
“Robert Ludlum’s Jason Bourne is the most exciting action hero to emerge in decades, thrilling audiences around the world,” said Mike Quigley, group vice president of marketing, EA Games Label. “EA is excited to enter into a long-term relationship with Ludlum Entertainment, bringing the action, intrigue and intensity of Robert Ludlum’s fiction to life for casual and core gamers around the globe.”
So, for those who don't know, The Bourne Trilogy is my favourite movie trilogy of all time, Bourne is so much better than Bond and Starbreeze are the company that made possibly my favourite game this generation in The Darkness, as well as arguably the best game of last generation in Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay (which is being bundled with the new Riddick game out this year which looks amazing! (and is my 2nd most anticipated title after Alan Wake).
So it's my favourite franchise (Bourne), published by the best publisher (EA) and developed by my favourite developer (Starbreeze). Does it get any better?
