Bought some chicken thighs today and am wondering what we should do with them to make something nommy. Have this (http://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/8159/rosemary-chicken-with-tomato-sauce) in mind but wanted some other suggestions.

Fire away :D

OMG you HAVE to do sticky Chicken!!

All you need is some Homepride Sweet and Sour Cook in Sauce.

Shove the thighs into a hot pan and brown off slightly! Then throw them in a metal tin (ideally a brownie tin - nothing too huge so the chicken kind of fills the tin and doesn't leave massive gaps) and cover them with the sweet and sour sauce.

Chuck them into a hot oven (GM 8) and leave for about 45mins.

Around half way through turn the chicken.

The chicken will be moist as and covered in gooey scrummy sauce and and and the pan will have caramelised goo on it you can pick off and nom and it gets stuck in your teef and and and.

DO IT!

Please do it!

I'm doing it tomorrow night. It's one of the simplest yet loveliest dishes in the world. I have to have it once a week/every couple of weeks with a big serving of broad beans and some rice on the side :D

I'd bake 'em in the oven in a curry sauce. Oven bake curries are the best.

I tend to cook thighs for longer as they aren't as tender as breast which I normally use. If you like I can send you all spice the ingredients for the Chicken Achari recipe I posted a while ago :)

Roast whole with skin on, stir fry, kebabs, curry, creamy pasta sauce, pie, stuffed with stuff, pancake layer with creamy sauce and spinach.

Chicken thigh is win win win, goes in practically anything.

Wrap in tin foil, drizzle with olive oil, oven cook slowly with some sliced taters and carrots. Cover in homemade onion gravy.

I much prefer chicken thigh to chicken breast. More flavour and more succulent.

paprika chicken..

Hungarian paprika chicken
Chicken legs/thighs
flour
Onion
Can of chopped tomatoes
chicken or veg Stock cube
3 tablespoons of paprika (if you like spice get hot, if you don't like spice get the normal) or to taste. You may want to put a lot more in, up to a jar. do it to taste.
Tagilteli

method:
1) on a plate mix some plain flour with salt and pepper.
2) lightly dust the chicken in flour and fry in a pan until coloured, remove and place aside.
3) peel and chop the onions, add to the pan and fry until translucent.
4) place the chicken back in with the onions, add the tomatoes, stock cube, paprika. And simmer until chicken is cooked and sauce is reduced.
5) meanwhile cook the tagiltilie in salted water.

I love thighs, they're so versatile, I like to stuff 'em, wrap 'em and bake 'em. I love me chicken with lots of butter and garlic (there's a surprise). I don 't have any recipies per se, but you can do anything with 'em really.

BTW AH2, do you really put 3tbsp of paprika in it?? I think I might explode if I put that much in, and I'm only using the smoked stuff. My last batch was sweet paprika, which is very mild so you could get away with putting a lot more in. Just a mere 2tsps will be plenty for me in this dish!! Gives it a kick, but means I can still taste it. I've also put a chopped up red pepper in.

Upto you. Paprika isn't hot, unless you get the hot stuff. But yep I put loads in. it's meant to taste of paprika.
