View Full Version : Final Fantasy PSP?
As far as I can tell there are 3, being I, II and VII. Has anyone played these? I've not used my PSP in ages and I think a FF game would encourage me to use it more.

There's also crisis core (unless by VII you mean crisis core?), which is a prequel to FFVII where you play as Zack and follow the events that lead to the downfall of Sephiroth. The gameplay is only above average but the opportunity to find out more about the back story of FFVII can't be missed.
FFI and II are... ok i guess, they show their age but they're good time sinks.
Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions (iirc?) is great, not your traditional Final Fantasy game but i would say it's better than the likes of FFXII.
Also keep in mind if you have 'special firmware' you can play any PS1 game you like if ripped (from your original disk in order to avoid breaking the law obviously!) and put on a data stick which increases the library of RPGs exponentially.

Iirc it's still illegal even if you own the game. Davey will know better though as he's good with stuff like that.
Not saying either way what I'd do, just that I don't think it is legal :)

You are indeed correct, it is illegal as it would be classed as backing the game up, something which is illegal even if you own the original.

Yeah, it's one of those laws that makes it illegal here, but legal elsewhere and that's where the confusion comes from.
If you want to play PS1 games buy a PS3, it's the best add on for a PSP going.
