Most people spread out their numbers as they think its quite random. If I did the lottery regularly and wanted the same set of numbers I would choose two sets of sequential numbers eg:

20 24 32 33 44 45

You have no better chance of winning but there is less chance someone else will choose the same (thus meaning you have a smaller cut of the prize). Also these are mostly high numbers as a lot of people choose dates as their numbers.

And if I always entered the same numbers and they came up the one week I didn't buy a ticket? That would be annoying to say the least.

If you want number you chose 32,33,34,35,36,37. This is because from 1-31 is reserved for birthdays. And if those number do come up very few people will actually have them because people asume they have less chance *sigh*. The only control you have over the lottery is the potential amount of money you win if you do win. I do Lucky Dip though. I do it online too. And i keep a lottery log on excel so i know how much money I'm wasting :p

I play infrequently so I don't have set numbers. I always play 23 and 42 and pick the rest randomly on the form.
