I've just done the same with my Rover. Was no longer working, would cost too much to repair, so it's gone to get crushed :(

NOOOO! That's much worse than selling it :(

Yea, it was pretty depressing watching it get loaded onto the back of a truck, getting half crushed in the process. 4 years and 60,000 miles in it, god it was a good car. Got a much better one now though, and all will be revealed soon.
