Finally got my htpc sorted and it's been 5 days and I haven't tested it yet. Just checked my finances and I'm better than I thought I was this week. So looking for some blu-ray deals. What online palces are good. 2 for £22(hmv) and the good films are 2 for £30 must be beatable

I usually use http://www.movietyme.com or http://www.axelmusic.com, but both are primarily for imports (a lot of Blu-Rays are region free).

Alternately, keep checking on HUKD for good UK based deals on Blu-Rays.

One in bristol is closed, anyone know if the one in the mall (bcribbs casueway) is still open.

If you don't mind going into store, Blockbuster should have plenty in the 2 for £25 range. I know my local one has tons of Blu-Ray stock for the offer :D

didn't even think of them, do you need to be a member to buy?
Also they used to do ex-rental dvds for cheap. Do hey do that with blu-ray?

Nope you don't have to be a member to buy :)
They do ex-rental and traded in blu-rays, tend to start at about £10 for the blu-rays.

Check this place - http://www.cheapbluraymovies.co.uk - covers most online stores. Works very well. There is also a Region Free list on there as it's frequently cheaper to get the disk from the US rather than the UK, or you get it much sooner.

Otherwise, keep checking www.hotukdeals.com

I got loads when Woolies shut down though - still haven't watched them all. :D

If it's open at all, it won't be a Zavvi store. Cribbs Causeway was one of the final three that the Administrators hoped to sell on. Zavvi no longer has any high street stores.

However, the Zavvi name was bought by The Hut, who have re-opened the online store. There are indeed some cheap Blu-Ray deals there:
