Started it yesterday :)

Not sure why I hadn't already picked it up (actually I do it was the price like you) and I'm loving it. I'm quite a way into it now and I'll definately be trying to get 200/200 and the 2nd episode straight after. The combat can take a little while to get used and some of the fights are a tad frantic and unforgiving (especially if you're after all the achievements) but for the most part with the right tactics and items they're not too bad.

I do the lovecraftian setting and well, you know I like me rpgs so I'm giving it a big thumbs up :)

I'm 400/400 over the 2 episodes now, definitely recommend the first one at that price :)

Hmm. I have 800 points sat around doing nowt. Queued the demo for download because I don't know what it is. If it's a deal of the week does tnat mean it'll go to a higher price, and if so, when? :dunno:

Finished it. Excellent stuff and well worth the purchase.

And, bloody hell Daz, that last fight was tough, very impressed with the 200/200 now! Wasn't prepared for the automatic save after it so no chance to try again and not sure I'm really up for another playthrough.

Yeah, took a few attempts that. Was tipped off about the save quirk so it didnt get me :) If you got all the others another play through wouldn't take long I'd bet.

Crazy game! As was to be expected, I'm not great at it, but made it through the demo smacking the bejesus out of all the robots. Killing anything tech-related seems like a good use of my time to me so for 800 points I'm very tempted. Very much doubt I'll 100% it though as I have trouble spotting when the attacks are about to happen.

I actually found it easier once my guys had a few more hps. At the start I found I was getting killed easily unless I used a lot of items; which isn't so bad as they replenish every time you revisit an area.

Bought it, and then promptly suffered repeated insta-death on the first round of robots on the next level. Just not fast enough it seems. :'(

More of the same for sure. The combat system is added to (chain up attacks), and tweaked slightly (it actually says 'BLOCK' for example, rather than just flashing a light). It too me longer to get through, some nice puzzles. Great hidden achievement as well! There's also a few rather amusing scenes involving a robotic monkey.

I found the trick was to use loads of items especially the reduce attack by 75% one at the start. Hit one or two guys with it and then concentrate on the other. Don't worry about using a lot of items as you can re-enter panels as many times as you like you like to replenish them.
