Probably a very easy question to answer.

I have a .AVI file that is around 6.5gb in size and I need it shrinking down to just under 4.7gb so it can go onto DVD. Will nero do this automatically or do I need to use other software to burn it onto disk

Thanks

jesus. 6gb avi. what you done to end up with it that size?

i don't normally have to re-encode any of my avis but if i ever need to work on one then virtual dub does just about anything. i'm sure that'll do the job for you.

Peanuts! I've had a 38gb AVI, and the video was only an hour long. It was uncompressed though. :)

Not sure about Nero, but VirtualDub will (it's what I use).

i wish i could believe such a thing exists. Cheerleaders, at least in Sheffield, aren't all you hoped they'd be :'(

I hadn't seen any WWE for nearly 10 years, but just that match alone made me glad I'd watched that event!!

Personally I think that was about the only good match this year. MITB was ok but far too many cock ups and failed moves. Hardys was a huge anti climax from the build up, 2 tables and one ladder jump, great. Rey/JBL was just a waste of time, Divas was a waste of time, Legends was ok, Steamboat just about saved it. Heavyweight triple threat ended in typical 'wow Cena lifted something heavy' fashion and the WWE match was nothing special, no excitement, interferences etc.

To be honest, the stuff that happened on Raw the day after was better IMO
