Yes, Mel and Kim are there - So are Level 42 (or at least Mark King).

/edit - Ooo, all the hairs on my arms stood up with Kat Bosch started singing. Also looks like one of the Grange Hill kids there as well.

And spotted Hazel O'Connor and I think some of the Nolan Sisters were there in the group at the end?

Think people have got more than I would! I remember that day, and my brother remembers it very well as he was on the same ferry the previous day. Somewhere I should still have the vinyl single.

Ahh.. the great Gary Moore and the Knopf on guitar solo duties :)
Figure the Knopf from the very first sign of an electric guitarist finger picking. Not many famous ones of those.
I think I spotted Alvin Stardust in the group?

Wow, Ferry Aid. Blast from the past! My uncle died in that god-forsaken thing and my Dad changed shifts - he was meant to be on it.

Sam noticed Kate Bush without watching the video :)

Yep Linda was there, you can see her in the middle of the pic around 4:01

Who's the radio DJ with glasses you can see in the end bit? Think he might have been american?(bottom left in brown jacket at 5:12)

Kate Bush probably has one of the most distinctive voices of the last 50 years or so, there aren't many that sounded like her!

Looks like Simon Bates to me, but he wasn't american.
