Ooooooo this is good
I've recently finished series 2 of Dexter and started S3, watched all the Episodes of Reaper to date, BSG is all done, need to catch up on Lost and Heroes both of which kind of lost their spark for me but of the ones I've been watching recently Breaking Bad really stands out and I highly recomend it

Breaking Bad follows protagonist Walter White (Bryan Cranston), a chemistry teacher who lives in New Mexico with his wife (Anna Gunn) and teenage son (RJ Mitte) who has cerebral palsy. White is diagnosed with Stage III cancer and given a prognosis of two years left to live. With a new sense of fearlessness based on his medical prognosis, and a desire to secure his family's financial security, White chooses to enter a dangerous world of drugs and crime and ascends to power in this world. The series explores how a fatal diagnosis such as White's releases a typical man from the daily concerns and constraints of normal society and follows his transformation from mild family man to a kingpin of the drug trade.

Up to ep 7 of season 2 and loving it. Best thing that's been on tele in a long time imo.

Season one was shown on FXUK last year but due to the writers strike in the US there were only 7 shows in the first series.

Streeteh, is that offer still on the table from my 'Dexter' thread?
I've also got a newsgroup account if the first episodes are easily available (when I say easily I mean released by the same group/poster in a consistant manner with NFO etc.).

I've been meaning to start this for around 8 months, my friends gone on about it constantly. I've been wanting to buy the BBC but can't afford it.

It is mate but if you've got a newsgroup account i've got a decent website you should look at that has loads of .nzb files for shows on it, really well organized and easy to use. Only catch is the first episode of dexter is 205 days old, does your newsgroup account hold files for that long? (Mine does 220 days and that's the longest i know of)
Am i allowed to post links to such things here? If so i'll chuck it in this thread.

You can, these sites are not illegal to look at but of course we do not advocate their use :)

Ah ok, obviously i never use these things i just know of them :p
I'd say it's very much NSFW, aside from the obvious fact it's a website that indexes nzbs for shows it also has a slightly norty picture in the top banner :D

If anyone has any troubles drop me an email, tis my username at blueyonder.co.uk, or add me on msn which is username at hotmail.co.uk

I won't mention anything more with regards to such matters.

I was actually talking about the current Breaking Bad series 2. I watched the two episodes on the AMC website a few weeks ago and now I've got a slight craving to watch the rest sooner than it may take for them to reach FXUK (whenever that may be).
Then again Dexter series 3 starts on FXUK Friday night so I may just hold out until after that finishes :D.

Ah well, you certainly won't have trouble finding that on a certain site then :)
I've pretty much spent the day going through Season 1 and it's great. I think Cranston is a fantastic actor, and the "broken plate" scene in episode 3 with Krazy-8 and Walter in the basement is very good.
Still holding out on watching the rest of season 2.

*thats the biggest lie ever its the last thing i need, but i'm willing to sacrifice and ignore my girlfriend :)

OOOooookay, so just finished Episode 7 this just gets better and better :D
It's a shame the writers strike killed of season 1 where it was, it would have been nice to get some more episodes in before season 2. Ah well, hopefully they'll compensate for that with plenty more seasons to come.
I'm up to Ep3 of season 2 now and the writing just gets better. :)

Argh!
Don't tempt me. I've got the first third of season 2 on my PC but have resisted in watching any of them yet.
My Sky+ box is still holding a good few hours of shows that I've yet to watch.
Needless to say I've neglected to even touch a good few of my 360 games (only just got into Fable 2 in the last few weeks and yet to touch Fallout 3 from launch).

Not read the thread as I wasn't sure whether there would be any spoilers, however MB recommended this to me a week ago and Ive since acquired it, and it's awesome :D
Cheers for the recommendation :D
I should hold my hands up and admit that I couldn't hold out. I ended up watching up to episode 10 over the last week or so. I will probably end up watching the last three episodes today.
One of the best series I've watched in a long time has got better in the second series.
