Check this out!

Some of those moves are damn impressive. Especially their overall strength and flexibility.

I can do about 1 and a half moves out of that lot! Those girls are so so strong! *wonders if she'll ever get that good* Probably not :(

Slightly OT but I'm sure she'll come into this thread, Roberta are you going to Pole Unity? I think Amby has a bus load of us going :)

I am going to Pole Unity, yes. Not performing though, going to support a freind. I will be performing at The Big Chill festival though. Excited!

Some pretty nice tricks there, but if you really want to see something spectacular you only need Felix. No one else comes close at the moment:

Very very impressive and yet I'm thinking "friction burns, ouch" - am I missing the point at all? :embarrassed: Joking aside the flexibility and strength required to do that must be incredible.

I for one welcome our new flexible overlords, and look forward to the puny male crushing from the supple thighs of doom.

She's really good. Is there a spinny pole and a static? Some of the moves seem impossible if she's just on static! Though, maybe it's just my noobness! :o

Make yourself known at Pole Unity and I can finally claim a meeting with a member of BD :D I'm on level 3 now but still can't do inverts! I keep landing heavily and hurting me shoulder :(

Had to turn that off when she started using Iris as a backing track, I have to say that I never thought it would be possible for a half naked lady dancing around a pole not to be attractive but Felix there seems manage it. Maybe I'm not supposed to find it attractive because its a 'sport'?

Not to mention the bruising that's all par for the course!

Yeah, spinny and static. Damn I love Spinny!

I shall do. I'll hardly miss Amby so I shall come find you!

Some people find Hyperextensive joints a bit icky to look at!

:shocked::shocked:

I know! She invented the new move the Spatchcock which she goes into at about 3.30 on that clip and within hours of her doing it it was all over the pole forums with everyone's jaws dropping!

They could crack a nut or two between those legs.

Difficult to describe, but is that the one with the legs fully extended, with the pole sandwiched between the back of her ankles and her back?

I don't know if I'm odd but I see nothing erotic in pole dancing whatsoever. I can appreciate the skill and strength that's needed but it doesn't excite me at all.

I'm the same, but it doesn't strike me that they're trying to dance erotically there.

I'm another one who doesn't find it particularly erotic but I'm hugely impressed by the strength, flexibility and co-ordination displayed.

When she did that, I was literally sat here with my mouth agape - what an awesome move

True, but even when you see pole dancing in clubs and stuff where eroticism is the prime objective, I just think 'meh'.

That's the one! Takes an enormous amount of back flexibility for that one so it's not a move I'll ever master!

It does indeed take a huge amount of strength and flexibility. Learning a new move is often painful. I'm always covered in bruises and my hands are a mass of callouses, but it's all worth it when you nail the move you've been trying for for 6 months!

Feek, none of my stuff is in the slightest bit sexy, nor do I aim for that. I just love the feeling of twirling round the pole and having a laugh! I also love the 'RAAAAAAAARRRRR!' feeling I get from tricks when I know it's brute strength holding me there!

The move is very cool but the name is awesome.

It looks like it's a lot of fun to do, I can see the point about it not being sexy but for me there is still something attractive about seeing someone showing a skill or ability and doing it well. Admittedly when I see the pole dancing I'm not saying "phwoar, I want her right now" but it's a skill beyond mere looks and I can appreciate that.

I thought it looked as if that Felix was thrashing about on the pole or stuggling to grip at times. Took away from it a little for me. And Iris is an awful song choice.
