I love The Rise and Fall of Reginald Perrin, so I was reasonably certain I was going to like this as much as a punch in the groin.

However, I'm quite enjoying it :o

Currently on BBC iPlayer

I thought it was OK but will take a little while to get used to. Walking past the Sunshine Desserts building made me laugh :)

I meant to set a series link but forgot. I'll watch the first episode on iPlayer in the next couple of days and will decide from there if I do set that series link.

Yeah I thought it was very good. Can't think of a better actor to play the role than Martin Clunes either :)

I watched the first episode of the original series a couple of nights ago and I have to say, this new one pales into insignificance compared to it.

Once you've seen the "Grot" ashtray, anything else just pales into insignificance. :D

I've watched the first 2 so far and am enjoying it. My expectations were set very low but so far so good.

Yeah, it's not going badly, and also happens to be, imo, about the funniest thing on tv at the moment... which sort of describes the state of modern comedy...

I think it's ok.. being a commuter myself makes it all the more appealing.
