View Full Version : Chocolate half price!
Only useful for the Chelmsford lot. Asda have reduced all the Creme Eggs to half price! 3 for 60p :) Just encase anyone on here is a closet Creme Egg lover.
I suspect most places that still have stock will be doing something similar, but there's nowhere near as much stock about this year as used to happen.
Saw loads in Morrissons in witham yesterday. At full price :(
Crenme eggs suck ass tbh
Don't be a cock.
Don't be a cock.
what do you expect, she can't even spell creme :p
They're 5 for a quid in town at the mo :)
Blockbuster have them for the same price assuming they have any stock left! Ours sold out very quickly.
I'm annoyed Morrisons haven't reduced any of their stock :( Was really hoping they would as always do the food shopping there.

Smashed or not, I still hate Creme Eggs.
People who do like the vile things should be glad I don't like them anyway.. all the more for them and all that :p

3 packs on the till next to me just dropped to 63p :)
GOGOGO! :D
How can anybody not like Creme eggs? I thought it was hardcoded into our DNA to like Cadbury's divine egg treat?

you two should be banned from all future chocolate threads ;)

This is NOT chocolate :p Chocolate needs to be at least 70-80% cacao to be labelled as such so ner :p

70-80% cacao
no wonder we don't like the stuff you eat :p
I was ignorant, now I'm not. Will is right. :)
I'm very much a British chocolate person. I know it isn't the proper stuff and I don't really care. I don't mind the proper stuff but not on it's own - has to be filled with something because it's too potent for me otherwise and even then I'm rather selective.
That said, I quite like creme eggs. Not my favourite, but OK. There's far worse out there for sure - need I mention Hershey's :puke:
Oh I agree Hershey's mings, hard. The yanks don't really know much about chocolate. That's one thing even Cadbury's have them trumped on.
I bought myself a bar of Hershey's last week in NYC just incase I'd been remember wrongly how foul the stuff is. Nope, it's awful.
There was a chippy in Peterborough that did deep fried Creme Eggs one easter. I think it was run by a Glaswegian.
hershey chocolate actually *does* smell of vomit. Especially the kisses.
Australia have fake Cadburys.
My mate asked me to bring a load over, it wasn't till I saw Cadbury's in the supermarket that she said they have a Cadbury's factory here, but they make it with oil or something :/ it tastes like the chocolate in advent calendars - cheap choc. Not good!

It's the same story in the US. Hershey make it under license but the texture is absolutely nothing like proper Cadbury. It's got that horribly powdery Hershey texture with a slight taste of Dairy Milk.
A while back when I was in the US I saw not only terrys chocolate oranges, but also chocolate raspberries. Interesting I thought, looked at the box, made in england. Worth a punt then.
Wrong. Utterly disgusting! Made to the US palatte I think
