Wow that is awesome :D
Nice sunset. Quite impressed with how far you're progressing. :)
Now I've got a new toy I guess I should be out doing things like this.

Its the frame that makes it look more professional :p
Its actually a very messy shot but I was at youth work and my ability to move about and get a clean horizon was limited by having to work, I shot quite a few and this one was my favourite because of the contrail giving a lead in :)

You see, I didn't really care that much about the horizon. The contrail obviously did the trick then. Either that or that's sufficient proof I'll never 'make it' (not that that matters much to me).

That's certainly a different perspective, and looks like a good use of rule of thirds to me. :)

Not quite so sure about that one. I'm drawn towards the out-of-focus background rather than the flower, which doesn't really stand out for me.
Anyway, g'night. :)

Yes its a bit marmite that one, I'm going on and off it, the interesting thing is that its taken against the sun and I played around to get both the sun and the flower visible, bit of an experiment really :)

I think I'm going to use that phrase more often ;D
Nice shots. And there was you saying you rarely use the wide end of your Sigma :D
