Ideas for a 21st present

I'm stuck!
My parents are wanting to know what I want for my birthday and I just don't know. I wanted something I could keep as it is a fairly big birthday and had originally come up with a charm bracelet, only to find out my sister and her boyfriend had already got me one while they were in Berlin (www.thomassabo.com (http://www.thomassabo.com)).
Seems like I am buying the kitten for myself now as well as it won't be ready until September.
So what do I do? I don't want a watch as my past history with them has been rubbish.

For my 18th I got a photo album with 18th on it and I went on holiday so all my photos went in it. For my 20th I wanted my pole which is something I will keep but I don't think it's quite your thing :p

Most special birthday things are quite cliched so it's quite hard to think of anything original :(

I didn't really want anything for my 21st so rather than choosing something for the sake of it I just had nothing. Seemed like a waste getting something if I didn't actually want it.

That was pretty much my take on it, same with my 18th. For my 21st my parents got me a little model of a teddy bear holding the numbers 21 but nothing expensive to 'mark' the day as I couldn't think of anything that would represent that. So just had an usual birthday which was nice and that was that :)

If your sister's getting you a charm bracelet, couldn't your parents get a charm to put on it to represent your 21st? I know it's not a big thing but surely it'd be significant enough? :)

I don't think I got anything 'special' for my 21st from my parents.

I would remember it right?! I went to Dublin with the girls - I remember that.

My brother got money towards a car.
