Brilliant. Where? When? :D
V was fantastic. I hope the remake doesn't suck!

Fantastic, one of the best sci series, we used to call my old french teacher Diana because she wore so much make up we were convinced she was a lizard underneath :D
MB
due on ABC early 2010 with Juliet from Lost in the main role as Elizabeth (Lizzie ;)) :D
I couldn't sleep for a week when Diana ate that mouse and I had a huge crush on Donovan!
I remember it well, sitting in my mate Richard's front room watching it when it first aired.
Did I see Marc Singer from the original mini-series in there?
Awesome stuff.
Yes my mum was watching this, however with me only just being 1 hindered their viewing time of the original series. :p
Looks alright, something to pass the time.

Early appearance of Freddie from NoES without his face on if I remember rightly

Oh I think I saw him too ;)
He was the man in the dog collar wasn't he?
And yes, MB - That was Willy iirc :D
I loved V, I even had the book of the mini series although when it turned into a regular series it went badly wrong. Anyone remember the wedding of Charles and Diana? *sigh*
Did I see Morena Baccarin? Never heard of this but looks good!

Oh my god Scott Wolf, not seen him in anything for a while!
Still hubba hubba though! :o
Series looks half decent too!
I don't know if I'll like it. Although I did say that about BSG and now rate it as the one of the best shows ever made.
Quite a few 'famous' people in there too. Or if not famous, then very recognisable at least.
Looks promising but we'll see. The original series was awesome.
Joel Gretsch back on the screens again, probably the main talent in The 4400 :D

Yep - Robert Englund eating a rat! Om nom nom!
It's one of my fav 80's series that, like most I grew up watching. That scene where Diana noms the budgie still irks me! Got the entire series on my PC here, but feel that the remake will pretty much ruin good memories :/
Oh and Monica looks silly as Diana with that haircut :/

Ham Tyler for the win .... hope he's back in.
I have the set of V episodes.
The Original Mini-Series, The Final Battle and the 18 episodes that followed.

IIRC, ITV bought "V" as an attempt to attract more than viewer one, as the Beeb had won the bidding war over coverage of the LA olympics. So, they bought some minor mini-series just to keep some advertising revenue rolling in but almost immediately they began to slaughter auntie in the ratings.
I'ts not the same without the crap 80's white spaceships :/
And aye the Budgie eating scene still gets me lol and the lizard baby scene
Oh god I forgot about that lizard baby scene

There is no truth that I sprayed red V symbols on walls in the 80s.
No truth at all.
The pilot for V (2009) was on in the USA yesterday and it's kicking around the usual download sites already.
It was OK, it's not just a straight remake of the old series, the story has changed to the extent that you can know the original one but still not know what's coming next in this one and it's moving along quite quickly.
It's going to need a few episodes to get to know the characters but I'm holding out hope that it'll be worthwhile.
don't remember it buy looks good.
Quite enjoyed it, but no Marc Singer and no Michael Ironside and nobody called Ham Tyler :(
