I've been trying for a while now to get that waterfall I had a go at when I first got the 300D just right - I think I'm nearly there now. I went down tonight about half an hour after sunset and the light was perfect for long exposures so I had another go and came up with this:

I've tinkered a bit with the levels and contrast. Any advice would be gratefully received :)

Wow, looks like a computer rendering. I have a similar pic of a church that looks unreal - complete fluke. Great picture.

I haven't done much long exposure stuff yet but I now have my tripod and cushion in the car just in case the opportunity presents itself

If you enjoy that sort of stuff it's probably worth investing in a couple of ND filters of varying strengths.
