Xbox profile help

Ok I've made a right balls up of this.

First configured an offline profile, as instructed. Then joined Xbox Live and thus created a separate profile.

I've subsequently discovered that I already have an Xbox Live account (created via Windows Games Live) that I'd rather use and thus want to scratch the profiles I've created and start again.

How can I delete the profiles I've created on the XBox and start again, hooking up to the correct Xbox Live account this time? I can't see any options on the XBox to add or delete profiles.

if you go to settings you can delete them from there.

System Settings
Memory
Hard Drive
Gamer Profiles
Select the Profile you want to delete
Delete
