Normally around this time of year there's a few good games about to be released, and loads announced months in advance. Having just been through a massive pre-order myself, what's currently on your lists?

Just ordered myself for Xbox 360...

Aliens vs. Predator
Batman: Arkham Asylum Collector's Edition (with Batarang! I'll be claiming faces...)
Dead Rising 2 (Currently £29.99 on play.com - not sure if this is a mistake, but good price anyway)
Ghostbusters
Left 4 Dead 2
Wolfenstein

As you may be able to tell, 1st/3rd-person shoot/kick/splatter-'em-ups are my favourite!

I'm definitely seeing a sequel theme here :D

Oh crap, forgot Bioshock 2! Hopefully there'll be a new collector's edition with a figurine closer to release date.

Great price on DR2 that - I don't know what Game points are worth, but is it worth my while canceling from Game and reordering from Zavvi?

The only one I've actually pre-ordered so far is Halo: ODST - got that for the tasty price of £29.99 :)

Oh, tell a lie- I also have Modern Warfare 2 and Jumpgate: Evolution on pre-order

I also want just about every game mentioned so far in this thread :p

Nothing pre-ordered here but games I'm looking forward to:
Dead Rising 2 (although I've still hardly played the original despite me buying a 360 for it pretty much :o )
Ghostbusters (I think I'll rent it though rather than buy)

Bioshock 2
Modern Warfare 2 (one of the few games I know I will definitely be buying!)

Only pre-orders I have are:

Alan Wake (£4.99)
Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising

I will most definately be picking up most of the other titles mentioned here though I am holding out for some crazy supermarket prices (that and I have a £50 HMV voucher that I am saving for something worth while).

Pre-ordered back in February 2006 when GAME had some discount vouchers out. Order £150+ and get £30 off but I figured out that if you put the items in the basket in a specific order that the discount was taken off of one item. Cancelled the other pre-orders over a few months resulting in the game I wanted with the £30 discount still applied.

I think Alan Wake was £54.99 at the time so it would have been £24.99 originally. As Game has dropped the actual price by £20 (currently @ £34.99) they have also dropped my pre-order price. Last time I checked (before last night) it was £9.10 after the VAT drop.
