Made me hungry too so I've just scoffed down a pack of grapes, 2 x penguin bars, a magnum ice cream and a tube of pringles. Oops!

Looks gorgeous though :)

I'm confused... it looks huge?!

Maybe because I'm looking at it on my Toovd monitor?

Damnit, I want a steak sammitch now!

Actually, what I really want is a massive slab of rib eye, rubbed with garlic, sprinkled with a little pepper then 'cooked' to the stage where it says 'MOOOOOOOOOOO!' when I cut it, nicely rested and served with pomme dauphinoise and spinach. I want to say creamed spinach but I think that would be a bit OTT couples with the dauphinoise.

But then it was really too thick and a bit of a waste to eat it like that.....so knife and forks out ! Besides, I wanted to see what it looks like inside.

That's a lovely looking bit of dead cow there.

When I'm having a steak sandwich that's the only time I'll cook my steak any further than blue. Medium rare is my preference for a sandwich,

I cook it on the same pan i cooked the steak in so its already hot and i keep it moving by tossing it, then stop and let it cook on the heat and the toss it again. Don't rush it.

Agreed. Huge too. I got me some steak from Morrisons now and I'm having a similar tea :)

It's a fillet steak, I got it locally from a butcher who sourced locally here in Herefordshire. It's probably hunged about 35 days.
