Cool but surely a 360 to power a stick is OTT ;)

Hey there Captain Negativo.
Do you enter all threads like this and think "Must... Not... Compliment... Console... Related..."

Yes, that is exactly my thought process. It's even better if you posted the thread, because then I think in capitals.

I'm the same, there was no indication of scale from the previous ones, it's much larger than I realised (not that this is a bad thing).

Same here. This also brings on another question. What do you do with them when you're 'done'?

PS - this isn't the dumb question you might think it is. I know what an 'arcade stick', but I don't know what one might be used for outside an arcade. :)

Hence why it's stupid to buy the TE stick as it's much bigger than the SE stick in my OP.

How much would a stick like that cost to make Kreeeee?

About £70 unfortunately.

£35 for sanwa parts, £20 for broken 360, £5-15 for the controller and an ethernet cable for the cabling.

Cool, might look into this at some point when I get SFIV and KoFXI on the 360

What else makes a good base other than a broken 360?

BlazBlue looks amazing too. There are a couple of Street Fighter games on XBLA too.

BlazBlue looks gorgeous but I've never been much of a fan of the Guilty Gear games. I'll rent it and see :)

Added a USB port so there isn't always a cable hanging out the back and if anyone trips over the cable it won't break the pad.
