My 8 year old 5.1 Pioneer receiver is slowly giving up the ghost - some of the analogue inputs are completely dead and now the DAC is getting a bit flaky. So it's time to retire it and get a new one.

What I'm after is a receiver that has a DAB tuner built in that'll connect to the TV using HDMI.

The sources I've got in my setup are:

Sky+ connected by Component to the TV, toslink to receiver
Xbox 360. VGA to TV, toslink to receiver
DVD player. DVI (using HDMI to DVI cable) to TV, digital coax to receiver
CD player. Analogue audio.
Turntable. Analogue audio.
Wii. Component to TV, analogue audio to receiver

At some point I'll want a Blu Ray player so assume that a PS3 will appear in the not too distant future.

So then, any suggestions? I'm looking at spending up to £500.

Onkyo have a good rep and the 607 falls within budget, worth a look.

I believe it can take 5 video and 7 audio inputs.

Seems either Yamaha DSP-AX763 or Sony STR-DA2400ES have good reviews

Any of the above, plus Denon. That covers all the brands I know make decent systems with lots of inputs and not too outrageous prices.

Onkyo is a name that a few other people have mentioned to me. I'll go take a look - thanks for the suggestions chaps :)

Hmm, the 607 doesn't have a phono input so I'd have to look at an amplifier for the turntable.

Onkyo have a DAB tuner listed but can't find a price anywhere - guess it must be very new.

check the hd audio codecs it has. You want to listen to blu-ray in it's full glory. The audio is a massive improvement compared to the picture.
