You (and I) learn something new every day. :)

And here's another new thing. You can use shift+Delete instead of control+X too. :)

Thread was not what I was expecting! :D

Glad I'm not the only one thinking that! I assumed it was going to be a fart related thing.

Maybe a sticky can be made of helpful forum shortcuts :)
Or a mass PM with them all :)

I had the same thought as just about everyone else it seems, but also thought it best to be helpful once I got here. :)

I didn't think about farts when I read the title by the way, simply because Mei Mei would NOT do anything so vile. I was actually thinking "oh, she's gone into the printing business".

:p ;)

It did cross my mind there might be some parpageness going on but it never crossed my mind that it would be Mei mei doing parpys!

I'm a keyboard shortcut obsessive. If I can avoid taking my hands of the keyboard to use the mouse I will do!
That's one of the reasons why it irritates me so much when program developers radically re-organise their menus. Even if there is no specific shortcut I'm still used to pressing alt+menu-letter, and then the option letter to do certain stuff. (e.g. alt+f then o to open a file)

Linux users don't even have to bother with Copy + Paste. Just highlight text, go to where you want to use it and click the middle mouse button. Voila, text copied. Even more useful is the buffer that's stored in is separate from the copy+paste buffer :)

I was honestly surprised by the title as...

I assumed it was going to be a fart related thing.
