We changed the battery in our Laguna and the radio is asking for a code. We've looked for it but can't seem to find it and Renault want £30+ quid for it.
My google fu isn't strong at the moment I'm trying to find a free option and not having much luck.

I have a few code generators/sorters but I'll really have to dig deep to find them as I've not used them in 3 years, Think they may be on my Skydrive.
Wait there a mo !

By the way you can get the codes Online for a Fiver. ;)
All else fails I have a man in Hinckley that'll unlock it for a Tenner.

No worries fella, trying to get it done without spending a penny :p
If you google, you're bound to find someone who suggests putting it in the freezer for a few hours.
You may as well stand on one leg, wait for a north wind and pick a random code!
A fiver sounds a reasonable price if you can't find a way to do it for free.

Assume that you have checked the manual? Also worth popping the head unit out, the previous owner of my Mundano was 'clever' enough to write it on top of the head unit.

Seal it in a plastic bag then put it in your freezer for an hour.
Works every time.
