It's my little girls birthday today (1) so I've made my first ever cake...

Madeira cake in the middle with butter icing and lots! of fondant icing with some royal icing thingies I piped out around the outside.

Really pleased though it took quite some time. Not sure what it tastes like yet (sugary I should imagine) but at this point I don't really care!

Cake making is fuuun! Picky and I (or rather, should I say my bridesmaid and I) are planning on making our wedding cake. It's rather wickedy woo! Very excited :D Cake making is faab!
