View Full Version : It isn't always sunny in Hawaii

Weather here can be rather changeable. Most of the year for most of the island it's dry with rain falling early in the day before most people are up. Windward side (East North East coast) gets rain a fair bit. Not quite on a scale you do in London and the South East, but not far off, primarily because of the mountains. This area of the island always used to be the main source of agricultural produce.

The other weekend the swimming club Lana coaches for held their annual awards ceremony on a stunningly beautiful Golf Course owned and run by a local church, that nestles fairly close to the mountains. Earlier in the day the golf club had been used for a wedding reception and the bride and groom had had their photographs taken in various picturesque locations. Whilst I wasn't able to get down to the ground to take this photograph like the wedding photographer did, I'm rather pleased with the way it came out:

Still looks bloody gorgeous. I very much doubt it is as bad as the UK! Want more sunshine for longer.

I want to go to hawaii I want want want :( when kids are older we shall drag them there!!!
