Pheebs, her dad and I spent yesterday on Bournemouth sea front to watch day 2 of the 4 day air show. It was extremely good fun to watch, and (armed with my canon kit lens) allowed me to take some photos in a situation that I'm not familiar.

I've only auto levelled a few and resized... so post processing is minimal.
Now - I realllly want some more lenses ;)

I like the second Lancaster one - does look ominous silhouetted against the sky like that.
Did you see the firework display btw? :)

The "fireworks" were the evening before, so we missed them... Not that bothered though hearing what we've heard about them!

Cheers Mondo - although I am perturbed by the sloping horizon! :)

The Lanc has a great shape.
