Excellent, finally they admit what the rest of us have always known.
oh nice! ha, god i'm slow atm.
Ouch at the cost :(
I'll be ouching at the cost of my road tax in October - £415/year!
wtf £215 for a mini, my Yaris costs £68 for 6 months or £125 for a year and I think that is daylight robbery, mine is due end of this month but going to wait 5 days to renew :D

Your Yaris probably has less than 100bhp, the MINI has 210bhp and does 0-60 in under 7 seconds, drinks more petrol and kills more kittens but does admittedly look just as gay
MB
My Focus is £190 for the year :( Bloody rip off :(
My 530i costs that much per year

Is it wrong I laughed at the kittens line? :o
Holy hell, my 1.8 MX5 from 94 is only £190 to insure for 12 months. Does your Mini run on blended panda?

That's even worse. 8 wheeled juggernaut that has its own built in coal station?

It's a lot faster than an mx5 unless you have forced induction :)
It also burns a lot more petrol and in this case looks a lot LESS gay :p

All BMW minis look gay bar the new Coupe that is coming out in 2011 but at a price tag of over £20k makes it gay.

I don't disagree but they considerably look less gay than an MX5, new coupe looks hyper gay btw and will be slower than my car

Close. Golf R32 - 3.2 litre V6 and it's not the most fuel efficient V6 on the planet. But 0-60 in about 5.2s and a gnats cock under 300bhp plus a really yummy engine note means I can tolerate the road tax :)

MR2 Turbo, mid-engined, rear wheel drive sports car: 230BHP, 0-60 in 5.3sec. Tax = £190 per year + not gay in the slightest = WIN

Nissan Micra, 1.0l. 0-60, if you are lucky and alone in the car.
Ghey as the night is dark. £125 tax. Same as a 1.3 Yaris.

I've had two of those (the old type, before Matt says it :p). I had 105 out of one of them - admittedly, it was downhill with a force 10 gale behind me. Scariest thing I ever did

Like my old mate Glen's "lemon-turd yellow" Metro, it had an alarming shudder between 70 and 75mph but we managed to top the ton in it on the Peterborough ring road.

looks like I'm only 175 for the year - roll on November :/
I <3 my 1.4TSI :D

But we can go zooooooooooooooOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM with the roof down.
Can't we Will? Nothing pulls the ladies like a shiny convertible.

The hairdresser, I mean Will, is gonna kill you when he sees this ;D
I frequently berate Will for selling his MX5. That was such a fun car to drive.

Don't think I've driven a metro that DIDN'T try and shake itself to bits between 70 and 75.

I have a 1.6SE Golf that cost me £105 for 6 months and I can't figure out why, either - it really isn't what I'd associate with "powerful car".

One of my favourite sayings I picked up off my old boss when I was an industrial chemist. :D
Princess Griff's 1.4 Clio complete with Duct-taped sunroof and dinged side panels sets us back ~£60 notes for 6 months :(

Don't forget the hand painted stars on the side, lovingly painted on by my rebellious sister before I got the car off her.....stylish....
God I want a new car :(
