Good thinking. When I was living at home we were attacked by some kids on the doorstep with broken bottles and you'll be surprised how good a shield the freezing blast out a CO2 extinguisher is. It was enough to make us some space while my dad grabbed one of them and threw him into the side of the car, the rest scarpered while I concentrated on this one lad and we held him hostage while forcing out of him where they had gone. Dad then grabbed my university project as a weapon and went after them while I waited for the police.

True story.

And you're so right Jonny, they're bloody cold!

I was told a story yesterday about a robbery in a jewelers where the two ladies behind the till started just throwing the items at the robbers, which confused them and they just legged it.

If the robbers had any intelligence at all they'd have had a man waiting at the counter or round the corner in the other direction. Both members of staff went after the guys in helmets leaving all the lovely jewellery up for grabs. :D
