The Video Games Live (http://www.videogameslive.com) show is coming to Cardiff on December 3rd (http://www.videogameslive.com/index.php?s=dates) (tickets on sale tomorrow). Me and Dee went to see it in Glasgow last year and really enjoyed it, so we're going again to this one!
Without repeating too much from the info page (http://www.videogameslive.com/index.php?s=info), an orchestra/choir will perform various sets of music from a number of game franchises, along with some funky solo stuff, and some clever games for the audience to play. When we were there they also had a Guitar Hero competition going on in the foyer beforehand, and other things.
It was a really great night last year - lots of friendly people, really good atmosphere, lots of nostalgia, and a few bevvy's to boot :)
If anyone fancies coming along, get your tickets and post here, and we'll arrange to meet up! Prices aren't listed yet, but as a guide the Dublin show is down as €26, €33, so what's that, £25-30ish?
