Congratulations, you've just invented the time machine.
The only problem is it's only good for one return (or one way depending what you have in mind) trip. Let's say for the sake of argument it polarizes something in the atmosphere so you couldn't just build a new one and so on and so on.

So, knowing you can only make one trip, be it to "undo" something in the past or see something that happened before you were born, where (or rather when) would you go?

Back to the day I signed my first credit card agreement and shout NO!!! at myself repeatedly.

The way I feel today I'd go and find the first creature that crawled out of the sea and shoot the bastard in the face

I would go back to the time when creatures crawled out of the sea ..... and not crawl out.

1780s Vienna to watch a Mozart concerto.

I'd go back to June 1914 and prevent the assasination of Franz Ferdinand.....hopefully stopping WW1 (and as a consequence, WW2) from starting.

I thought of that however I suspect that the consequence's to modern living would be massive, it would be a very different world without the internet or nuclear power.

They'd both exist, war only accelerates invention/discovery.
Plus even if you erased WW1+2, I'm sure the world would've found some other reason or excuse to kill tens of thouands.

The way my last couple years have gone?

I'd go back to when the first living creature decided it was a good idea to reproduce and pour as much bleach/gasoline/whatever other highly toxic chemical as I could take with me all over the place.

Then laugh maniacally as the time paradox ripped my atoms apart...

I'd just go back a couple of years, stop myself getting fried, enjoy the summer in the open air, and be able to make it to the second camping meet. And save the frisbee once again ;)

I wouldn't change anything but I'd like to go back and do it ALL again please!

That reminds me of the pics you posted after the event.
Jaw dropping stuff IMHO.

I'd go back to the day I let myself be put in a position that ended up with me being sacked and avoid it. Last four months have been the worst of my life, I'm not even being melodramatic! Proper crap!

Yes, it did for me too and I did a little shudder.

Anything I can think of ends up getting reset by the grandfather paradox. So I guess I'll settle for going to Live Aid in 1985 to see Queen play at their best. Must have been awesome.

Wembley 1986 was better imho.
Knebworth 1986 was pretty special too - being the last live show with them all together. :(

I'd quite like to just go back and relive my life again from about the beginning of secondary school but with the benefit of the knowledge and experience I have now.

I'd like to go back to the 1970's so that I could not remember any of the time that I wasn't alive ;)

Dunno about better, but it was good. I've got the CD. :)

Back to the day I signed my first credit card agreement and shout NO!!! at myself repeatedly.

I gave this some thought as it seemed like a good plan. My finances would be in much better shape (i.e. I probably wouldn't have a mortgage now instead of having an 80k one), but I'd also not have gone to places like Australia or the Grand Canyon, and probably wouldn't have met you wonderful bunch of people. Boring life with no money worries vs much better life with a mortgage to clear.

My next plan would be to go back to the Apollo era - but not just to watch - I'd have to be involved somehow. Now that'd be cool.

I'd go back to when I was about 15 and tell myself to keep my chin up and that I'll come out the other end ok. I wish I had, had that at the time.

I'd go back and meet my paternal grandfather.
