Situation is this - Xbox360 is still in repair (:()

However, have the Nettop connected up to the 50" - it's obviously not a supa-gaming machine, so we're talking some of the older vintage games, and/or emulators.

I do have, however, 2 x wired Xbox 360 controllers, with the XBCD drivers they seem pretty versatile.

Suggestions for some co-op PC-gaming goodness?

*edit*
Retro is good too - I just thought maybe some Quake 2 co-op (with a mod?) might be a bit of a blast, has been a while :D

Ooooh, Serious Sam maybe :D That would be a right laugh :D

*edit2*

How bizarre, almost an identical question on gamespot, off I go

Hm, Left 4 Dead apparently too, is it supposed to be good?

Suppose if I dial the GFX down that could be a bit of fun :)

Left 4 Dead is very good.
Sven Co-Op for Half Life was a lot of fun.
Serious Sam is always amazing.

I don't think L4D can do 2 player co op from one machine though? I thought it was online only.

Unreal has a good co-op mode which is basically the single player part with friends, ah the fun you can have diving off the sunspire into the lava for fun lol

Well after all that, we tried with Serious Sam and it was all going well until it appears the way that the joysticks are detected doesn't work too well, resulting in Sams 1 & 2 standing on the spot spinning around in circles :p

So in the end plumped for MAME and a bunch of old-school arcade games, Street Fighter 2, R-Type and suchlike - was good fun :)
