It's officially Christmas. Spent the evening singing carols and drinking wine and wonderful beers and eating great food.
I love Christmas Carols and hymns - reminds me of my childhood going to cold churches with the smell of incense and an amazing organ and choirs singing. Magical.
Decorations up - nope
Cards sent - nope
Humbug :D
oh and what's Bandaoke ?
Bandaoke ?
It's Kareoke, but instead of a backing track, you sing with a live band.
The guys were cool... it was BRILLIANT!!! :D

Just survived putting up the tree. Much delayed and rather difficult both physically and emotionally!
At least it looks quite pretty:

Do I spy a cat there, and if so, why is he facing away from the tree? ;D
Well done. :)
Radiator = much more appealing to Harry than the tree strangely!
He did enjoy 'helping' with the lights though ;)
Nothing "quite" about it Jen, thats a gorgeous tree :):)

We just got home from our annual late night shopping trip to Tesco!
If I were working tomorrow (today), my alarm would be sounding in just over two hours. Luckily I'm not :D
I'm donating money to Shelter instead of sending Chrimble Cards this year. Could have sworn I'd said this already, but seems not!!
Merry Christmas you lovely lot, and a fabulous New Year too!

Happy christmas all! Family arriving at 11, enjoying the brief calm before the storm.
Merry Christmas one and all - I hope you enjoy your day whether it's spent with family, friends or lovers, and to those alone this year I chink my virtual glass to thee! :D

Have a good day mate!
Happy Christmas one and all.
I has a wii! And loads of other nice things too. Parentals are insisting we open theirs AFTER lunch for some mad reason so more pressies later.
In my family's tradition, we celebrate boxing day (from when my dad was a fireman, working christmas days) so we have a big family day tomorrow when we exchange presents and have xmas dinner.
Nevertheless, I have had a few pressies, I've said it elsewhere, and I'll say it here.
I got some high quality stripers to help me decorate my flat! Har Har!
Me and Daz have had xmas morning at ours, going to his parents later, seeing my mum tomoro morning, and my dad in the evening.
4 lots of Christmas presents \o/
Ridiculously spoilt by my Mum ensuring I won't run out of games or films to watch for the foreseeable future :)
Also had an excellent present off Nokkon: the complete Popcap Collection :D You rock
Most importantly, the day's going ok and we're both managing to enjoy it despite a few downs/reminiscing. :)
Hope everyone else is having a good day.
Just had a 2 hour nap (this is after spending 17 hours in bed from yesterday to this morning) still feeling horribly ill but cooking a jingly dinner dammit!!!
Mele Kalikimaka / Happy Christmas one and all.
Just gone 8am and Kari and I are only just up and moving, had a fun night with the family last night at the retirement home her grandmother lives at. Fantastic place, with a wonderful kitchen / meeting area on each floor so we could eat lots and celebrate.
Home for a couple of hours, exchanging presents amongst ourselves and then off around to my sister-in-law's house to meet up with the rest of the immediate family for any final present sharing, and the traditional consumption of copious amounts of food \o/

Hello everyone, hope you have had a lovely day whatever you have spent it doing.
I had some lovely pressies, main one being a much needed new sat nav (mine died a few months back, and I need one for work) I also had a pair of red slipper boots from my sister which are like the warmest thing ever, my brother bought me a CD and a New Look Voucher, and then I had lots of bits and bobs which are also lovely. (including the worlds longest pair of socks!)
Far too full up right now, need to try and get some sleep because I have to be up way too early in the morning to catch a coach to London to watch Bristol City play QPR.
Its been lovely reading this thread today, hearing about things people got and what they did. Hope boxing day is as lovely for everyone as today was, think of me about lunchtime, freezing my butt off at the footy! :D
Our house got these: http://www.flickr.com/photos/zicouk/4212892231/ (bang on 25th)
and this: http://www.flickr.com/photos/zicouk/4213835696/ (Friday 11th) for Christmas.

Happy Boxing Day everyone!!!
I had a looovely Christmas!! Jingo got me, along with lots of little pressies, two beautiful photoframes fulls of photos of us and friends, they're gorgeous!
Had a wonderful Christmas dinner cooked by my mother, and me n Jingo had prepared a family video which we all watched in the afternoon which had everyone in tears!
Jesus, the amount of chocolates and sweets we got was unbelievable though!!
Hope everyone had a great festive time. What did everyone get?
I got a massive lump of tree :)
