View Full Version : Who likes the rain?
Sat inside in the dark, with the radiator on and watching the rain come down outside and listening to the drumming on the roof. I quite like it.
Am I perverse? :dunno:
Nope - it's well known than the sound of rain can be soothing. I could do with some of that right now.
Not quite so soothing when you're out in the middle of it though. ;D

Or if its coming down on your head whilst shopping in Swansea indoor market....
I love the sound of the rain on a tent when I'm snuggled up in a sleeping bag inside :)
I also like running in the rain. I'm not a fan of rain & wind though as it makes you cooooooooooold.
I find rain very sexy, kissing in the rain is awesome :D
being toasty warm indoors while its pouring down with rain and windy outside is goooooood!!!!
I love bouncing rain but only if I *don't* have to go out in it unless I want to
I'm the same as Kate. Love the rain, I used to love sitting in a chair at my parents house next to the patio door (open) and watch & listen the rain pounding down.
Even when we got in last night from a night out we opened the window so we could hear the rain while we were all snuggled up inside :)
Hate it when it's coupled with wind though!
Hate the rain, work outside. Love thunderstorms though. Especially in the summer when they are warm. Haven't seen a good thunderstorm for ages though.

This!
I like rain, especially when I'm on my bike or on the playing field. Booo to those that don't!

Hahaha, mine too :D I still love the rain though.
Light rain is best for running because it doesn't get in your eyes. Heavy rain demands a baseball cap to keep it from running down your face.
I love standing in the open doorway when it's tonking it down.
I also really really love thunderstorms. I wish we had more in this country.

When I was in Mexico in July, there was one afternoon it completely wee'd down, but because it was warm, the rain was warm and it was lovely.
I took some pictures when it rained, 2 of them are my brother in the pool whilst the storm was happening

I do love watching the rain, but dont like it if I have to go out in it. I find weather in general fascinating though.

I like being in our conservatory when it rains.
I'm from Vancouver/Seattle. I have webbed feet. I no longer like the rain.
A good thunder and lightning storm is pretty cool, though. Used to get those out in Minnesota a lot. Not so much here.

I like the rain, so far it hasn't rained enough in London. Rain means cool temperatures normally and that's good, in fact cold is very good for me but London doesn't seem to manage that very well.
If you really want you can hide away while it is raining but it isn't something that bothers me much. Walking and running while it is raining is quite pleasant unless it is -4 or below, at which point it starts to get a little bit sore.
Knip, same thing happened first day in Cyprus. Sat on the roof boiling hot, along comes the rain and we all stayed out as it was so lovely. Followed by forked lightning across the mountains. Incredible!
I like rain... unless it's "sticky" rain (I think that's the light rain you all speak of... annoying) or windy rain! Brrr!
Love the sound of it :) Very relaxing!
BUT! I prefer to be sat outside... and I'd rather not sit in the pouring rain! :)
