Apparently some nice chap has released a rickrolling worm which affects jailbroken iPhones.
The attacks, which researchers say are the world's first iPhone worm in the wild, target jailbroken iPhones that have SSH software installed and keep Apple's default root password of "alpine."

Apparently, the worm is only affecting Australian users at the moment but source code has been released so it's only a matter of time before some scrote in the UK releases one, I would think.

If you have a jailbroken iPhone, I would suggest you change from the default password if you haven't already :)

El Reg in getting facts straight shocker (the last one of these was put straight by me). :)

No SSH here, so no way in. In fact, I don't have any console apps installed so no way to get at the password to change it either.

SSH is on here but my password has been changed from standard so I'm safe :)

Go into terminal (install it if necessary), then issue the 'passwd' command. The default password is alpine.

Is terminal an App from Cydia?

You could connect from the mac. Open terminal and type ssh root@IP.ADDRESS.OF.IPHONE and then alpine as the password. Once connected, type passwd to enter your new password.
