View Full Version : First of December - Was anyone lucky enough to get a visit from a Christmas Elf?
Well It's the first of December, and I was wondering if any of the lovely BD people were chosen to have a magic elf come stay with them in the run up to Christmas?
The little one and I were lucky and had a visit from a lovely Elf Called Emily Tumbleflump Dancing-Toes she's going to stay with us until Christmas Eve. She came bearing the gift of a lego advent calendar for the little one.

Hmm, if people get enough of them maybe we can get enough staff for the National Elf Service ;)
This morning we woke up to a familiar sound, but were a little confused at first.
Upon Investigating we found that Emily had been playing on the Nintendo DS last night!

Then when the little one got home from School (to Nana's) Emily had found her way there and was sitting on Nana's bed with a message in her journal saying she had been to see her friend Rudolph and he had given her a Reindeer mask for the little one to make.

Well. 'things' have happened. Yesterday, came downstairs in the morning to find this: (had to take it on my phone as my camera wasn't 'available'.

Apparently, little Miss Dippy Dancing-Cracker had decided to steal my Dolly 40D and start snapping away at her little Christmas tree buddies. First pic didn't turn out so well, and poor Mr Snowman got chopped in half!

Next try was much better. She's improving!

Then today, I couldn't find her this morning so she didn't come with me to work. Came home a bit worried as I'd not heard from her, and look where I found her!

I wonder what she'll get up to next!

Awwwwwww :)
I'm serious you know. I didn't 'do' any of this, so unless it's someone else, she really is up to mischief!
Yesterday morning we woke and couldn't find Emily anywhere... Luckily she had left us a clue in her journal. She said "I'm feeling a little home sick, so I have gone somewhere to remind me of home" We thought for a bit and then the little one said it's cold in the fridge.
Off to the fridge we went and what did we find?......

In the afternoon Emily and I went to watch the little ones Advent Liturgy and then into the town to see the German Market. So there was no task left for the afternoon.
This morning when we came down stairs we found Emily sat on the floor doing stretches.. She had been doing my Kick boxing DVD, and in her journal there was a picture of her with the comment "I wanted to see what this Kick boxing is that mummy does, It's great fun!"
