View Full Version : Brrrr
Just used metcheck to look at the forecast for my postcode and saw this:

Really hope thats a typo
You sure you don't live in Siberia?
I might end up getting blown there :p
Or you could just go straight past Siberia and end up in Kansas. :)
That's quite a wind, how did they know I was planning on visiting and having a curry?
That's a category 5 hurricane  Cat 5 = 156mph+ at which point you're already talking structural damage, risk of collapse of buildings without internal support walls etc. Let alone 200mph+!
You think you've got it bad?

However, it's the Scottish contingent I really fear for

Lucky you... :p
The thought that just flashed into my head was a bunch of the toon army standing around in shorts and t-shirts in 300mph winds complaining that it's a bit on the warm side, and how they could do with a nice bit of a breeze to cool things down.
Makes mine look boring :(

I just feel sorry for him, lovely weather at work today, 5 degrees and no wind, lovely :)

I expected more windchill than that.
At least it's dry so I can wrap up warm... which I don't mind doing actually. I just hate it when it's cold and pissing it down.
Looks like your hurricane winds have all gone away :( Metcheck is only talking 10mph.

I like our forecast for the next few weeks, getting to a windchill of -10 :D
I don't. Hate snow and ice. Go away coldness.

It seems strange to say this, but I really miss weather. We've had a rain season, a hurricane season, and a hot month when unfortunately the trade winds vanished for some reason, but mostly nothing really changes from week to week. It's so boring.

I am now the warmest man in North Oxfordshire, I bought a Russian hat. It's great.
Although Lom says I look daft in it. (I'd rather look daft and be warm than look cool and be cold).

With all the health problems I've had this year I caved in a bought something I've wanted for ages but thought I'd look daft in: http://www.wychwood-shop.co.uk/products.asp?recnumber=22. I love it - I probably do look daft but it stops me getting cold metal burn in my ears and keeps me nice and warm :p
Jaysus, and you guys need quite a lot of minimum storage space as well.
I can beat that ;D I'm gonna have to stay in on Saturday

Can we snuggle to keep warm? :D
LOL just a lil bit chilly then! ;D
May need to get the thermals out at the weekend then :p
At this point, I need the hitchhikers quote about impossible things, but I can't remember it. :( :)
“If you’ve done six impossible things this morning, why not round it off with breakfast at Milliway's - the Restaurant at the End of the Universe!”
brrrrr!
By the way, it looks like I have written that weather forecast; 'today, 4 degrees, feels like 1 degree' :D

That's the one! Well, Liverpool has done one. Five to go! :D
