Has anyone else seen this? I think it's genius the way the octopus just picks up the cocunut and legs it. It's pretty fast as well :D

That is absolutely fantastic!
Finding, and nicking, both halves, +10 skill bonus.
Saw the page at work but I adblock BBC News Video, so thanks for supplying the link - I can watch it now.
That's pretty damn clever....but my god, they're ugly sods aren't they :D
I don't think suckers stick to coconut shells so I propose that the octopus is holding onto it by sucking in through it's mouth going *SLUUUURRRRRRRP* :)

Haha yehhh I watched that yesterday! SOOO COOOLLLL!!!!!!
That's awesome especially if you watch to teh end, he actually has two halfs and puts them together with himself inside.
Animals aren't as dumb as we think. We can't translae there sounds so have little idea how developed speech or other communication is.
I still reckon the biggest difference is opposable thumbs and that brain size increased afterwards. With out opposable thumbs we wouldn't be able to do much more than animals even with are large brains.
The crows in the links after the video are pretty amazing too.
