Had another walky today (more of a hobble!) in the lovely frosty/ snowy scenes.

Think the snow is a difference colour in every photo, I really don't have a clue about white balance (think that's why!)

General snowy landscapes with some morning sun:

brilliant Vix, the web is spectacular. Fantastic find and brilliant capture

The flower shots are fab too and the everyday scenes are very well composed. Don't worry about the technical side of white balance, just play with it until it looks how you want it, that's what I do ;)

Thanks everyone, I had a bad photography day the other day and I feel better now I've got some good shots today!

I only just noticed the web too. It was quite low down. It's a good job I had to really watch where I was walking otherwise I'd have missed it.

Brilliant! Especially the web. I don't recall ever seeing a photo like that before. http://www.boat-drinks.co.uk/images/icons/icon14.gif

Thanks for everyone's lovely comments. Wish I'd have put the web on my 365 now but I liked the Angel and she was quite seasonal :p

My favourite is the bench, I love the way the sun is :D

Aww thanks everyone. At one point I was in the meadow and every time i took one step forward, I took about 5 shots because the scenery just changed drastically and looked even more stunning.

That 2nd picture is inspirational. You feel as if you're being pulled into the scene.

Can I ask what lens/settings you used for that?

been looking through these again - the colours are just beautiful. Saturation is perfect.

What lovely things you are all saying! thanks :D

Abooie, I have a 'bridge' camera, a Canon SX10, so no special lens, and I must admit I used the preset 'landscape' setting for that shot, and twiddled a tiny bit in PS afterwards with the levels, hue and saturation. Oh I've managed to make a polariser fit so I used that for most of the shots - just helps get the sky looking nice :)

They look a bit washed out on the monitor I'm using at the mo but hopefully that's just this college monitor as they looked ok at home!
